Scottiedog: Once, Present and Future King of Husbands

I sort of dropped off the face of blogger earth there for a bit. I forgot what an utter pain the hand therapy was, especially at the beginning. It takes so much time and effort and my hand hurts like the dickens, which kind of saps my energy and will to get anything done, like blogging, drawing, or cleaning.

I do want to give props to Scottiedog right now, before any more time goes by, for his excellent care while I was (briefly) down. Here he is bringing me supper in bed!! (N.B. the curious Ivy at the left of the picture, trying to score a sniff.)

And this is the delicious supper: steak, veggie melange saute, and creamed spinach. This represents a terrific effort, because he hates cooking vegetables (or eating them). (This picture is kind of weird and dark. When I get home I'll see if I can perk it up a little.)

What a sweetie!

And that looks like a terrific meal.

Hope your hand therapy gets less miserable soon and that you're feeling better.

(And I LOVE your cartoons!)

What's cookin for tonight's din? I'm all over that food. Maybe he should blog a post about being your care-taker and what a major whiner you've been...
unless of course, you've been a saint.
Hope things are going well.
Tell SD about frozen veges and how "yummy" those are. haha

My hand therapy wasn't too bad, but it only involved one finger. It's horrifying how fast you lose grip strength, and how slow it is to get it back.
I'm glad I saw the picture of dinner not long after I ate my own or I'd be hungry again.

OK folks. SD here. I want to make a few things clear. I grilled a Porterhouse steak (on sale), made sautéed veggies (in the fridge) and frozen creamed spinach (Stoffers).

While I worship Melissa, I still try to keep the work to a minimum. She is easily impressed.

I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU DEAR.

Just as long as it doesn't interfere with my TV.

Scottie Dog sounds like a great guy (when it doesn't interfere with his TV, of course!!:))
Hope the hand therapy goes quickly, and that things are back to normal for you very soon.
