I am so impressed!!!
My shoes sit in the kitchen most of the time in large piles. Once I move I'm going to work on this habbit as well.
Regarding the gun safe:
It came with the house. It's attached to the wall in the pantry. Since I have no guns I put my passport in it (very James Bond). I live in Texas so to some this would be a selling point, I guess.

And I can't recommend the goals project highly enough. It is changing my life.
I need to work on the shoe thing. I take em off and I'm SURE I'm going to remember to bring 'em upstairs... never do.
But, um, goals involve DOING something about bad habits, huh? I tend to just lament mine, it's easier.

Yay! Good for you! Just last week I tripped over my girlfriend's shoes, but I managed to catch myself and not fall down. Unfortunately, I stepped awkwardly and caught the tail of my waiting dog at the door! She yelped and it scared me so bad that I ended up falling anyway! I am going to mention this to her (my girlfriend that is)...what a great goal!
oh yeah Andy! I am such an accident-prone person that this is kind of a survival project for me! Glad you didn't hurt yourself! Clue your Girlfriend!!!
